The Pearl of Qatar is a unique place in the Gulf and in the world. The island will, when fully developed, support a population of in excess of 40,000, predominantly in high rise apartments. In total there will be over 13,000 residential units, the vast majority of which will have a waterside location.

The Pearl of Qatar is configured around three major coves; Porto Arabia, Viva Bahriya and Costa Malaz, each of which will have a marina.
